Blue Sky Blue Fly in
Along side the flexwing heritage fly in on the weekend of September 6th and 7th there will be the Blue Sky Blue fly in.
We are going to make this event "the place to be" and put Otherton at the top of the event list for all microlighters.
With a view to attract all the family not just the pilots we will be using the clubs two marquees.
For the ladies..there will be a craft fair with a jewellery stand a card stall and homemade cakes.
Clare Purcell, a local artist will be hosting a stall in the marquee showing her amazing artwork. She has a unique ability to transform photographs into hand painted abstract silhouettes; she has an impressive portfolio of artwork that will be on display illustrating what she can do. Speak to Clare on the day about a painting of your aircraft?
For the kids we are promised a bouncy castle (we are looking for volunteers to take turns in supervising the children on the bouncy castle to keep them safe)
For the pilots we have the excellent range of clothing from Blue Sky Blue, headsets and intercoms from David knight communications (you may have seen at Splash last year) and from Smallworld.com we have Fly-angel and fly-map (Malcolm will have his CT there for potential customers to take a flight and see the units in action) We are going to have an Aero jumble so raid the hanger and the shed and the spare room and dig out all those aeroplane bits you have been hanging onto and turn them into cash.
For the bigger lads we have a display of motorbikes and scooters (new bikes at second hand prices)
There will be a photographer on site to take photos of you and your plane (your passengers will love a photo memento of their flight) and will print on site.
For everyone's delight Deb's diner will be there all weekend giving us great food at excellent prices
